After the war he moved to the United States and settled in California. The owner of the company and four children. Founded the Auschwitz Study Foundation. He won the process with the American neo-Nazi organization, which has publicly offered a prize of 50 000 dollars for the production of evidence that people were killed in the Auschwitz gas chambers. The trial was a recognition of the evidence submitted by Mermelstein and payment of prizes. In the area of its business has an exhibition devoted to the history of Auschwitz. He gives numerous lectures for young people.
