August Kowalczyk. Le refrain des barbelés III

A French translation of the third part of former Auschwitz prisoner August Kowalczyk's autobiographical novel, published several years ago in Polish as Refren kolczastego drutu [A Barbed Wire Refrain].

The first part recounted August Kowalczyk's Auschwitz fate from the moment his imprisonment began to his dramatic escape. In the second part, The Day's Remnants, Kowalczyk collected reminiscences of Auschwitz to create a mosaic of life in the camp.

The third part is a return through memory to the events of all those years ago, with the present and the wartime past intertwined...
